The Auditor of State recognizes that the utility’s finances are in order through our timely, clean, and accurate audit report with no financial surprises. “We're committed to transparency and running your water and sewer services smoothly,” said the post. Toho Water Authority in Kissimmee, Florida, celebrated World Toilet Day on November 19 with a LinkedIn post that read, in part, “This holiday season, let’s show our toilets some love by granting their first wish: keeping our pipes clear and healthy.” The post, which earned 18 interactions, included a creative video urging customers to flush only toilet paper to keep pipes clean. Del-Co Water in Delaware, Ohio, hosted the first-ever Ohio Young Professionals Summit at its headquarters November 15. The leadership workshop focused on professional development, industry insights, and networking for Ohio water and wastewater young professionals.
In other news from Del-Co, signage about the organization’s floating solar array caught the attention of Appalachian Renewable Power, which posted on LinkedIn, “The Del-Co Water Company signage is up! This floating solar array is the first of its kind in Ohio and marks an important moment in the history of our state.” The sign pictured in the post says the floating solar array, installed in June, produces 1.617GWh and covers an area of three acres. One GWh is equal to one billion watt-hours, one million kilowatt-hours, or 1,000 megawatt-hours. See the LinkedIn post.
