Under her leadership at Toho, the organization introduced Toho's Promise, a customer service philosophy drawing on the Disney Service Basics and grounded in the idea that customers can have trust in Toho. Havey will describe how Toho leverages continuous improvement in its dynamic approach to customer service and will share examples and results.
The Central Arizona Project
Wednesday, November 12
1:00 to 2:00 pm ET
The 336-mile Central Arizona Project (CAP) system is an engineering marvel that took 20 years to build at a cost of $4 billion. In this webinar, CAP Assistant General Manager of Operations, Power, Engineering and Maintenance Darrin Francom will give attendees an insider's look at infrastructure, operations and maintenance for this system's four tunnels, 10 siphons, 14 pumping plants, 39 radial gates, and more than 50 turnouts -- not to mention the six 66,000-horsepower pumps that lift water more than 800 vertical feet into a seven-mile long tunnel.
Francom was promoted to his current position in April 2021 after serving CAP for 20 years in a series of increasingly senior roles. His responsibility comprises a significant portion of the CAP workforce, operation and maintenance of the pumping and aqueduct systems, and management of the pumping energy rate that accounts for nearly a third of the CAP water rates.
